So what is subsidiarity? I when when I do um leadership development work, I call subsidiarity empowerment. It's bringing responsibility as far down the line as you can. And why does that make sense? Because the further down the line you go, number one, you empower people. You give them value. they feel they feel valued because you know but also it's it's to the the benefit of the the management because you get information that you do not have because it's not your experience you haven't been there and those people have seen it and and so that's why I think subsidiarity and empowerment is absolutely essential to be successful in in in running a business too Many too many heads of enterprises be them small businesses or or or large corporations think that they know it all now.

They went to business school. They've got an MBA. They've got the they've got a doctorate in engineering or whatever they do. You know, they think they know it all, but they don't know what's going on on the floor. And the only way they're going to know what's happening on the floor is by asking and by being open to the people that are on the floor. Then maybe their knowledge will be helpful because they will be able to manage what then they know. Okay. So that's why I think that you know it's such an important concept.
