Called to Business, Start of the EoC

Joan Duggan was co-founder of a very successful company, which she later sold. She then worked in the corporate world for a while, but eventually gave almost all of her money away and founded an EoC-minded tutoring startup in upstate New York, which she helped manage for over 2 decades. In this video Joan Duggan sharing her personal journey with the Economy of Communion, a movement born in Brazil to address poverty in the favelas. After hearing its vision announced at a meeting in Rome, she felt a deep calling toward a more purposeful approach to business. Despite initial hesitation after already building two companies, Joan ultimately chose to take a leap of faith and pursue what she knew was the right path.
