If fear is the only thing you got to fear, right? I mean that that's I'm not I'm not creating that. Somebody else said that before me. When you read scripture, how many times did it say do not be afraid? Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid. Many more times than love one another. Okay? I mean it's why because we are afraid by nature, you know. And what are we afraid of? There is nothing to be afraid of except fear itself, right?
But so um and every time you jump you realize that there was nothing to be afraid, you know, I know when I was a child um an experience with my mother. So, you know, I had a difficult relationship with my mother because she lived in Africa and I was and I was in France with my my grandfather and but she came once to visit and it was something extraordinary that woman that was very glamorous and very beautiful and uh and we went to the pool together, you know, in that small village where I was living and um I couldn't I couldn't swim. remember I was probably five or six years old, you know, and I couldn't swim, but she said, "Jump, jump, you know, and uh and I jumped and she took me on her back and and we swam."
Well, I was five or six years old. I never forgot that, you know, and and it inspires me still today, you know, jump, you know, don't be afraid, jump, you know, take the chance, you know, the idea, you know, that what what you what you can do, you know, and and I guess it's faith, right? Faith in oneself and faith in in providence in, you know, in in things that fall into place when they need when they need to fall into place.
Not not to be afraid, not to be afraid to risk, you know, and sometimes you fall on your face, right? But but it's okay. Then you just get up and and start again. But you learn something in the process anyway.
