Because with the economy of communion principle, you always look at the person as the most important thing. Um they're not there just to for your benefit, for the benefit of the company, but to look at what is really of benefit to this person. So in in my early days when I used to hire those people that I told you before when they started to blossom then my client says wow that guy Jeffrey is really good Sandra is really good you know and obviously in in the company you want to maintain keep your your resources your your employees but at that point I was also a small company and they have lives they have families to take care of And so I I talked to them and I said, "Well, you know, if my client wants to hire you, think about it.
What's best? Don't only think about what NetPro is. Think what's be best best for you because ultimately what's best for you is the best for everyone." And so then I would approach my clients who who showed interest in in my employees. And I says, "You know, but you could hire them." And and that was very uh interesting because they were very surprised. Usually in a very competitive market, you cannot you should not you cannot poach the other employees.
But I said but if that's the best for them uh then uh yes they get uh sure let's do that. And what started happening is this uh employees or ex employees of mine obviously the relationship is maintained. They're very happy with their within my client. My clients very happy with that. And long and behold, I realized that they became my sales managers, full-time sales managers for free because they're working for my clients, my competitors, my vendors, and they would hear any project, any work that needs to be done.
So they said, "Okay, we have this project. We need help." So these ex employees of mine will tell their bosses says why don't we bring netpro and they would remember netpro of course netpro and and up to now I don't I don't spend a dime on marketing uh typically to compete you spend so much money on on marketing advertisements and for the most part it's most of these people that are working for at Pro for free because they're out there everywhere with my competitors, my clients, and they says, "Well, yeah, let's bring them in."
So, it's uh again, it's one thing of um always looking out for the other, looking out for the other, and the other will look out for you. So, that's one of the surprising um benefits of what I've seen that uh made NetPro survive in such a competitive environment.
