Everything is providence. Everything is grace and providence is grace. So for me, every client is providential. Whatever way that client comes and and I've experienced it over and over and it always comes at the right moment. My business has shrunk a lot. Okay. There was a time when I, you know, when I was doing a lot of workshops all over the world and so on and so forth. I don't do that anymore. Um, and I used to have a lot of single coaching clients as well.
I have a handful now. Okay. So, it's but I've just I have just enough for this season in my life. And um I must say I have to trust in providence because there are days when I say, well, if I'm if I lose one, I'm done. I've got to shut down the shop. Right now, I'm 78 years old. I could sit down the shop, right? I mean, we But I I continue doing it because I can do it, you know, and and it's good for my health, right?
It, you know, good for my brains, and good for my health, right? So, it's very selfish selfish motive, but also as long as people want to pay me for my services, I imagine that my services are good for them, you know, and and valuable to them. So um but all that is providence I mean in that last one because also because one thing is I have stopped marketing I don't you know I I'm done with hustling you know when you run your own business there is a piece that you've got to go out there and you know and you got network which is a beautiful thing but which is also very exhausting tiring you know I'm not the most social guy in the blog right So um going into a networking event and the chitchat with with this this and the other is not really my my cup of tea,
right? So um where do my clients come from? Well, they come from grace. Yeah, that most recent client um was um well I I work with her husband and at some point she was she was looking for somebody and her husband said, "Oh, you should talk to Claude and we had a chat and she had a couple of other prospects but she decided to come with me and it served her very well and it served me very well as well."
Right. Um the client a bunch of engagement I had before was with through somebody I had done some facilitation with and um we hadn't been in touch for quite a while but he was working with the food bank the capital food bank in Washington DC and he was doing um workshops but they needed a coach and he said well I'm not a coach but you are do you want to take that do you want to take that part of the business and we ended up doing actually both workshops and and and coaching together.
But but that came out of the blue but the the blue is providence. Okay, you know and it's a and it's a grace and it's you and you can you can see the the the figure of God in those events. And so every single experience of of business for me has been of that nature.
