of the first experience of the of God's providence was at the beginning of spirits. At one point I got a big contract. Um it was a bit overwhelming because I didn't expect that. I was still working four days a week for the other like the travel agency where I had been working for 11 years and I was just consecrating one day a week to start my company and then I got this big contract for the world you day in 2005 uh in Col um Germany and um I got a lot of dasceses that wanted to sign up with me thanks to priest who talked about me.
And it was amazing but also overwhelming because I had to work like night shifts and weekends. And so um at one point I got interviewed for Catholic magazine and I got a phone call from a young woman who had read the article and who was inspired by uh spirits and by the economy of communion and she came to me uh well she called me first and said she wanted to work for spirits. So, at first I wanted to be professional and I said to her, "Well, there's no position right now.
Uh, send me your resume." So, she insisted a bit and she said she was ready to work for free. And oh, because I Yeah, she was insisting so much that I had to to uh to tell her I'm like, I'm not even paying myself a salary, so I cannot hire anybody. So she said she was ready to work for free, but she had no experience in travel agency. So I thought to myself, this is nice, but I'll have to train her.
It's going to take a long time. And then at the first opportunity, she will go somewhere else to get a salary because, you know, you can't work for free for a long time. So I thought this is not going to work. This is I'm going to waste my time. That that's what was first going through my mind. But she insisted even more. And um like I I was saying, "Well, I'll think about it. Just send your resume."
And she's like, "Well, I'll go to your door tomorrow and give it to you." I'm like, "Well, I'm pretty busy. I don't know if I'll have time." But she said, "I'll come anyway." So the next day I had a a bit of like I prayed a bit and then I had there's a little voice that was there was a little voice telling me it's Jesus that you're receiving in your home. You have to take the time to listen to her.
So I'm like okay I will take the time. So I started we started talking and um at one point I got this inspiration. I don't remember if it was before or during the meeting but I told her would you like to go to the world you day. Did you hear about it? She's like yes I would love to go. I heard about it. I'm like okay I thought about something. Maybe if you help me because I do need help.
Um I could you know I cannot pay you now but I have this big contract and after the trip then there will be profit and I mean I could pay the trip for you and and you know it could be like an exchange if you want to go. So she's like oh I would love that. So that was my first employee and her name her last name was Paredi which means like paradise. So I really felt she was an angel sent for from God.
She really helped me. I really needed help and I wouldn't have asked for help because I didn't think I could afford it. So it was really providence for me.
