competitors are the people that I uh basically are trying to um make a living and innovate in their own ways and so they deserve respect I feel you know and so they're not my enemies you know not they may have ideas you didn't think about they may serve customers in ways that you cannot reach and um they may help you build an industry that otherwise wouldn't come about if you were to do it alone the big temptation in the high-tech industry is that uh it's uh wanting absolute domination our way the only way or the only good way to solve that problem and that's a big lie.

The the facets of needs are so different and so so wide that might be different way to solve a problem. It's almost like we're more in competition with ourselves than we are against others, you know. And so just because we have a drive to succeed doesn't mean that you need to hate others, you know. For me, those things are not antagonistic, you know. They can they can live hand in hand.
