Being In Community

Liz Wallin, a former EoC entrepreneur, founded project LIA, which helped provide work training for formerly incarcerated women in Indianapolis.

In this clip, Liz Wallin talks about living in community with others, and how it is not always an easy thing to do, especially with clashing ideas or cultures, but in the end it is an incredibly rewarding experience teaching skills of communication and compromise.

  1. What is a time where you have lived or been in community with others and faced conflict? How did you solve it?
  2. Why is it so important to be in community, especially with others who may have views or beliefs different from you?
  3. What might be a potential downside of being isolated, without community around you?
